    INQUISITOR

Post  Kai on Sun Mar 13, 2011 1:20 pm

i got bored one day and decided to( partialy ) learn the rules for every specialist game ... i read the inquisitor rules and they seemed just as complicated as dark heresy but u can be ANYthing u want like a deamon host , a space marine , an eldar ranger and so on . its actually got some more indepth rules like you can aim , crouch , concetrate and ram , but they actually have rules for it so you can do it and you wont argue over stuff like " Its and agility test to ram some one offf a building . NO ! is a strength test ! " and shinanigains like that ( eheheh i use the word shinanigains ) . i really want to start it and i was wondering if anyone want to get together an inquisitor gaming group , and we could play every sunday or sumthing . plz commet and say your thoughts on this

( THE RULES ARE ACTUALLY SIMPLE WEN U THINK ABOUT IT ! .. GOD DAM IT I LEARN MOST OF 'EM IN AN HOUR ! ME I LEARN THEM ! )

i would also like to start necromunda and Battle fleet gothic ... comment back about these games too

I have played it and have a model or two for it. How ever my game experiance was soured after having my head cut from my body and then my testicles removed (in that order) by a Space Marine....

I think if we do an inquisitor league, we should rule NO Space Marines unless as a Boss fight...They just kill the fun.

Secondly to chris ... Just say anyone who wants to be a marine they have to work on their own if we are ganged up with each other ... Oh and if we do start I'd like to GM for the first campaign cus Ive got an Awsome senario already ... It involves alpha legion Smile

The fact that you can have a Marine carrying (and using) 2 las cannons or 2 heavy bolters (one in each hand) and the thought that power armour is better defense than a brick wall!

There are other non marine Power armoured models (I have Inquisitor Tyrus, but they are expensive in points. I'm next going to get a human gunslinger or the twin assassins...

I'm not sure, I guess you can do either quests or against each other... It depends on the campaign. I think war bands work just as if each model were an individual character, So each model works autonomously. As for loot, I guess it works on a similar scale as DnD... Role on a chart etc, unless your doing PvP then I guess you can loot what ever you want from who ever you kill... It should all be in the rules though.

ive made a warband , it consists of an eversor assanin cus theyre badass , 2 veteran guards men and an inquisitor ( guards men are body guards ) .......... havent sorted equiptment ... but i think we should do wisywig for models and then some other stuff ...

my single character is an eldar ranger with sniper rifle , sword and a shuriken catapult ..... then some eldar appropriate talents ( dodge , catfall , deadeye shot )

Nice... Do you have the rules for it? can you email them to me, I have a feeling GW took the free download off their website... That way I can get learning them. As for war band I have... Inquisitor in Power Armour with Powerfist and Bolt Pistol, and I am going to buy the twin death cult assassins and the SoB model... I'm going for an Ordo Hereticus, Ecclesiarchy war band...

Post  Kai on Mon Mar 21, 2011 1:51 pm

i've done all my , models as wisywig to make it "evener" because its well hard to make it fair in inquisitor .... but im just warning u my eversor assasin is SO HARD ! but b4 u say it might be unfair read eversors backgrounds . ................ if we dont do wisywig i think we should determine equiptment like this .... for an average guy ... can have any common items or 1 rare item ( ANYTHING ! but armour ) and the armour is determainted by wisywig ( guards men = flak , inquisitor = carapace or above and so on ) ..... assanins , inquisitors , sm's and other ppl that are a higher rank than sargent can have any common , 1 rare or 2 common and 1 exotic or legendary ( appart from armour ) may have any armour above carapace but has to be EVEN ! E.G. cannot be inq in power armour VS inquisitor in flak with only common ..... so just keep it fair cus power armour is somtimes a game ruiner . its only a ruiner if it is like crap weapons vs it

i also have another idea if u dont like that one

    we work on points !

    weapons

common items being 1 point per weapon
    rare are 2 per item
    exotic are 3 per item
    legendary are 5 per item

    armour

    common ( flak , mesh ) = 2 points
    rare ( carapace ) = 4 points
    Legendary ( power armour ) = 10 points
( or 1 point for every point of armour it provides )

u have to "aquire" other stuff like storm sheilds and refractor feilds aen alll dat

    power weapons are like ( for d6 dam ) 5 points , ( for d10 dam ) 8 points

its only an idea .... but i think we should progressivly get our war bands and wen a character dies IT DIES ! forever

Sounds good, I like the points idea... But how about we make it into money. So we loot money from kills and then we can use our money to buy better equipment.

By Power armoured Inq, I means I have the Inquisitor Tyrus Model (Witch hunter), its so cool and that means as I decribed him is WYSIWYG.

Ok ... Points & wisywig ( wisywig is free )

But let's call em inq points

U can convert inq points into inq coins ... 1 inq point = 1 inq coin !
And then let the GM decide how much equipment costs and members of ur warband
