Kai, Unfortunatly due to the context of this campaign you will not be able to use templars. They were a second founding chapter POST heresy. At this point Sigismund would be with his Imperial Fists (My Imperial Fists

I have Chaos but kinda want to rear a pre-heresy army... Unless We start pre-heresy and worked through into the heresy as a long campaign... I might play a chapter that turn... Or I might not

i want to do a heresy army because you can have like game modifiers that can hange your army or squads into chaos ...... and because i want to have primachs and use sigmisund to kill bloodthirsters like he did in the story

True, but We could role them as not having been cast out... as in during the great crusade.... And the novels are not always definitive lore.

We absolutely could say we are playing this before they where Excommunicate. But then you may as well just play 40k and make your own chapter. Just as opposed to dancing on the solid certain cannon that they have produced.
